For those on Wealthsimple, do you guys use Automated Investing?

You can look around for index funds that don't use FTSE for US equity.
Look at ZEQT for example. It uses a mix of S&P 500 and mid/small cap ETFs for US equity. S&P didn't bend over for Musk and so SPCX is not included yet. Hopefully they will also hold firm to their rules for the eventual OpenAI and Anthropic IPOs.
In reality it doesn't make much difference to your portfolio...yet. But if people can keep manipulating index funds to be the private equity bagholders then it's going to get bigger.
