As to the financial holding issue. That'd be the case with anything that holds a significant Canadian exposure (In the case of GEQT, it holds 30%). So of that 30%, 45 is in financial. In the 50% that is US holding - about 45% is in Info Tech (18% Nvidia!!!!!!). Basically if you're going to hold Canadian stock ETFs in any way, they're going to be financial and resource heavy.
