Some of these money markets went down sharply during COVID crash and some others also are exposed to the credit risk (from choosing corporate bonds) and duration risk (rising interest rate reducing the price as we say in 2022).
E.g: FLSD had 5% drop in 2020 and went down in 2022 (interest rate and credit risk)
The options you show are interesting but their higher return can just be explained by the fact that they are adding corporate bonds. I have not checked but you be able to replicate their performance by using money market + junk bond ETF + short corporate ETF

I am 75 and am 85% in equity now. This is just part of the 15% fixed income part of my portfolio. Our pensions cover all expenses and allow us to save a little more, so investments are just investments to leave in our estate. The risk is on our kids, not us!! I have looked at money market funds but they don't have a great return either, and risk goes up.
One year returns of these funds are significantly higher than CASH.ca. with some more risk of course.
FHIS - 5.76%
HFR - 6.48%
DXV - 5.19%
FLSD - 8.03%
CASH - 4.04
The risk return ratio is highest for the FHIS and HFR at 3.18 and 3.10 respectively. The high ratio and 5.48% return on the HFR makes it look attractive, except that it has the highest MER of the group at 0.46%. FLSD has the highest return at 8.03% but risk seems relatively high with Sharpe Ratio of 1.82 and a beta of 1.0.
