* **[1950 5 Pesos — Inauguración del Ferrocarril del Sureste]** — KM-466, .720 fine, weighed 27.78 g. **Struck for one year only** for the Mexico City–Mérida line. Mintage 200,000, and **over half were remelted** at the Mexico City Mint to make the 1968 Olympic coinage — one of the scarcer mid-century Mexican silver issues — **$150**
* **[1987 UNA ONZA .999 PROOF — same railway design]** — Casa de Moneda, 1 troy ounce .999, weighed 31.10 g. Proof finish, frosted devices, mirror fields. This is a **medal, not the 1950 coin** — different metal, different weight, and the reverse reads UNA ONZA LEY .999 PLATA PURA. Saying so plainly because the two get confused — **$175**
