**Introduction**
Given all this bearish, negative news surrounding employment numbers. New reports of all these tech companies laying off by the thousands. Wanted to look for any interesting investable industries hiding in plain sight. I’ve always known about Freelancer.com and even used their services here and there for simple dev or creative work here and there. Given these layoffs, I can see a shift similar to what we’ve seen with COVID-19 where people took to freelancing and other sources of income.
**What is Freelancer Limited?**
Freelancer Limited is a public company that operates an online marketplace for freelancers and businesses. The company has over 50 million users and has completed over 20 million projects.
