I don't disagree. However, the world is doing the opposite, however. Ignoring US movement ignores US money. Ignoring US money ignores something like 20-25% of world trade. An unwise decision for most.
The EU'S ECGI study was recently citing the US-Ripple case in its regulatory discussion. I can foresee whatever the U.S. deciding as strongly influencing what the world does in the future with its policies.
