True, but DDDX is a coved call fund that existed in 2008 when the market lost 50% of its value. it recover its nave very quickly and for a while faster than the index. But they did a 30% cut in the dividend very early in the crash possibly as a precautionary move. In any case today it has fully recover its NAV and dividend. Newer funds like QQQI are operated a bit differently to better handle these situations but we currently they have not experience a crash of that magnitude.
