Compass Minerals International Inc went public in 2003. Based on the time that the stock was bought, I don't think that company is the correct one.
I did manage to track down a company that used to use CMP as a ticker, Comprehensive Care Corporation on June 30, 1997. It used to be listed on the NYSE, but was delisted to OTC to CHCR. On January 8, 2014, the name changed to Advanzeon Solutions, Inc.
For GRE, I haven't found anything about it. Unless the name of the companies are given, not really possible to verify if my assumption is correct.
