I have NLB yes, while I bought it when it was c EUR 70 I think it’s still a decent buy. Clear growth path ahead in line with Balkan regions’ growth. Captive market with lowest deposit beta anywhere, so easy to squeese return from. Add on that overall very low leverage of the region and its a very solid pick still. Also would add that they are a very renowned and respected bank I was also in in touch with them via work (corporate loans, mid single digit mm) and they indeed are much more professional vs other banks in Slovenia - they reminded me of Unicredit in terms of professionalism
I have also ZVTG, CETG and EQNX. EQNX not a buy though unless you want pure unlevered real estate play / cash equivalent (due to being unlevered REIT I dont really see a path to more than 5%ish annual going forward, but I bought it before its 4x’d after spin off so not selling yet as would have big tax due).
