How much of an issue is it if a CEO of a company retains near total control of voting power? I know that investors occasionally get screwed, and I'm asking about ticker symbol AUVIP. The CEO halted dividends for 11 months (at 12 the prospectus reads that the preferred shareholders can take over the board), but he has so much control of voting power that he doesn't even bother to hold votes.
