Thanks for sharing! As a value investor how do you feel about the diminishing net margins and profit yoy? Do you think the 500m is justified? %40 q1 yoy growth but only %2.6 trailing 12 months. So it may not get to your multiple quite as fast. However it looks like the current fundamentals may get it to 130-190m if q1 performance continues.
Hasty DD:
Revenue
• 2023 : 225.5 M
• 2024: 193.3 M (~–14.3%)
• TTM ending Sep 2024: 177.8 M (continuing downtrend)
Net Income
• 2023: 18.42 M
• 2024: 12.86 M (~–30.1%)
• TTM: 2.09 M (sharp drop reflecting early-year softness)
Net Profit Margin
• 2023: 8.17%
• 2024: 6.65%
• TTM: 1.18%

I’d have to research more to keep an eye on. Typically I like undervalued assets with growing net income and good margins so just trying to expand my understanding.

Thank you so much, I will look up all of these companies and possibly diversify my AKTAF holdings into them :)

What percent of your portfolio/total stock and bond holdings does this (AKTAF) represent?

1. **Alpha Cognition (NASDAQ: ACOG)**: second FDA approved oral Alzheimer's drug in this decade already out in the market. They are extremely undervalued and will be worth 10-20x their current market cap in 1-2 years in my opinion.
2. **Akita Drilling (OTCPK: AKTAF)**: Extremely undervalued oil drilling equipment company. 40% revenue growth and 25% debt reduction YoY, $8.6 million net income in a single quarter and only $70 million market cap. Should be worth over $500 million in my opinion.
3. **American Integrity Insurance Group Inc. (NYSE: AII)**: Risky insurance company, most of their customers are in Florida. They just had an IPO like a month ago, last quarter they made $38 million net income and only valued $370 million though. If we annualize their net income the company should be worth over $2 billion, but risky because there could be natural disasters.
4. **Cognition Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: CGTX)**: Extremely risky investment, they will have their end-of-phase 2 Alzheimer's meeting with the FDA in the 9th of July. In 6 months their drug reduced cognition decline for early Alz patients by 95% compared to placebo (leqembi had a roughly 20% difference at 6 months). They also have a drug for Levy-Body Dementia for which they recently applied for breakthrough status (there are no approved drugs for LBD in the US yet, even though it is the second biggest form of dementia).
5. **Sadot Group (NASDAQ: SDOT)**: Global food supply chain company, even though there are 2 biotech companies in my top 5 this is the most risky of all in my opinion. They had a lot of dilution in the past and undergone multiple CEO switches. Right now it looks like they are on the right track (they just achieved their fourt profitable quarter in a row) but anything can happen.
Feel free to share your insights about them guys :)

*Disclaimer: I have 26800 shares of AKTAF at an $1.73 average*
Hi guys, **I recently** (roughly two weeks ago) **bought an extremely undervalued US-Canadian drilling equipment/leasing company that everybody overlooks.**
Now, it might be important to state: I have never bought a company like this before, simply because it was too far from my investment profile, but what currently is happening I decided to adapt.
**The company is AKITA Drilling Ltd. (OTCPK:AKTAF), they have a market cap of just over $70 million, their last quarter they made $8.6 million net income and their assets are worth $275 million with $52 million debt.** Now, you could say that just on the assets they should be worth over $220 million or **on the revenue as a drilling equipment company with 15 PE they should be worth almost $500 million dollars!**
**You would be right, they should be worth half billion dollars at least and they are trading at $70 million, but this is not the great part. The great part is that they grew their quarterly revenue by over 40% YoY and decreased their total debt by 25%.**
**I honestly think that this might be the most undervalued company in the market today.** So yeah, obviously this was a really short DD, and this is a totally new sector/industry to me, so **feel free to share your insights with me guys!**
