John Brda is the lawyer who apparently introduced Meta Materials and Torchlight. He sets up reverse mergers.
Giorgios(George) Palikaras was the CEO of Meta Materials. He was fired after they got on trouble with the SEC for engineering a previous short squeeze. He basically bankrupted Meta Materials afterwards by encouraging everyone to vote down a new share authorazition so they couldn't raise anymore money.
Both Brda and Palikaras have been indicted.
Greg McCabe is the current CEO of NextBridgeHydrocarbons, which is the new name of Torchlight. He owns most of the company. Most of NBH debt is also owed to him. He owns another company Hudspeath, and his son has a similar setup. I think they just shuffle things around between all these companies, but no real money is being spent.
Part of the indictment is they were using retail stock influencers they called shill team six or seven or something. I can't remember who was involved or if they released the names. As an aside federal prosecutors love it when you use a silly name like that when you commit your crimes. They are repeat that nickname a thousand times in front of the jury.
Bird Lady Roller Pigeons is a former OnlyFans model who dressed up in a bird costume to tout this stock.
