ACAQ didn't stay at NAV, there was a low float pump. But it drifted down after.

I was reminded of ACAQ too! Not apples to apples of course, but that was a scenario in which they scheduled their extension vote, w/ a new redemption window, but then were able to close before the extension vote took place.
IIRC, with ACAQ the guesswork was taken out because the price came back up with the "reinstatement" of NAV. So if you were long, you could just sell it, and didn't have to submit your shares for redemption.
The nightmare scenario would be you attempt to redeem, and then there's a surprise close, and your shares are trapped while the stock drops. I've never done a redemption reversal or had one canceled; I do not know how long it would take to have access to your shares. But I'm guessing it would not be pleasant.
