I am also down. Bought bunch of MLPI AND XLEI in last month and so.

I'm stacking shares of covered call ETFs based upon commodity producers, particularly energy(XLEI) and soon XLBI. In addition I'm shopping for gold and silver miners on sale with strong fundamentals.

I'm into high yielding energy covered call etfs. I particularly like state street's XLEI. I personally believe the energy crisis is far worse than we're being told and want exposure there. I further believe the bond crisis will eventually "resolve itself" with huge chunks of the bond market trying to cram itself into the gold space. As a result I'm into PM miners. Gold, silver, and platinum mining stocks which have very attractive valuations.

I'm also keeping an eye on basic material providers, though I probably stack a covered call etf there too...such as XLBI when it firms up. It's currently being punished for existing in a rising rate environment, but the world will still need copper, iron, silver, and assorted other basic materials. Even more so now with globalization clearly reversing.

Run away? ...quickly?
Strategy, Alphabet, Qwest...no thanks, they could get a whole lot cheaper.
I greatly rather stack shares of commodity producers and sell covered calls against them...or stack shares of funds that do the same. XLEI & XLBI for me thanks.
