"No liquidations, max loss defined when you enter" is the options version of telling me the roller coaster has seat belts, true and also the drop is still the point. Two things I would want before devnet testers can tell you what is broken. First, publish who is on the other side of the trade and how the pool gets paid, because someone is short that gamma and if it is a passive vault the honest number is what an ugly gap week does to it. Second, show the pricing inputs live, the vol you are using and where the underlying mark comes from, since American style plus onchain settlement means early exercise and oracle timing decide the payoff more than the pretty UI does. Also let people write an option and then try to exit it, that path is where these things usually break.

The account value on the summary and balances page in the app are showing a different amount than the total account value on the positions page. My Roth IRA has the same issue. I'm pretty certain these were always matching prior to the most recent UI update. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Fifteen minutes is not a technical floor, it is a polite way of saying the oracle is slower than the traders. At 60 seconds the settlement window is shorter than the feed heartbeat, so the game stops being "where does price go" and becomes "who sees the offchain tick before it lands onchain", which is just latency arbitrage wearing a prediction market costume. The maker eats it first, then quotes wider, then the book looks dead and everyone blames the UI. If you want to judge any of these designs, read three things in the docs: the update cadence and deviation threshold of the feed, whether settlement uses the tick at expiry or a short TWAP around it, and who can post the settling transaction. A TWAP over the last 30 to 60 seconds plus a fee that covers maker adverse selection is how the shorter windows survive. Sub minute markets are absolutely doable, they just need the price source and the block to be the same speed, and right now they are not.

This is my own UI that connects funds to strategies and executes them with IBKR. I am in Canada trading QQQ options 10s candles 1DTE intraday calls and puts on specific options charts fed from IBKR data subscription, the app builds the options charts to calculate entries and exits. I added a no overlap rule so only one call or put can be in at a time and the other side has to wait for the other to exit before it can "catchup" or be blocked. Theres no way to backtest options charts and especially this weird a stratagy. Only forward testing from candles I manually download each day from IBKR. I have a different strategy for 1m QQQ stocks but I need a lot more cash to overcome the trading fee minimums so thats dormant. Added code so that the Stonks mascot turns red/sad or green/happy depending if I'm in profit for the day. Great hobby/reason to live, no notes.

Sol 5.6 is better at UI/UX, fable is better at backend IMO

Robinhood is fine. Just be careful with the dopamine themed UI. If you gamble you will likely lose.
But the broker is kind of irrelevant. RH has a strong offering honestly. They have fractional auto buy. Offer crypto and stuff. Great mobile UX. Setup a weekly buy of VOO. Sell only to pay for urgent things. That’s how all personal finance works.
I personally prefer Fidelity for DIY’ers. But honestly RH is fine.

UI based trading will have KYC, and only be guaranteed compliant with US legislation
But you can always hit the contracts directly, so permissionless routes exist.
At least thats what Base officially claims.

Thanks for the feedback but ultimately incorrect, I'm thinking you skim read the piece and dismissed it because you're a bull.
I explicitly say that ROIIC is at 10% BECAUSE OF M&A , because they need to keep spending to stay at 20% growth rates. SBC is also a very real cost, listen to Warren Buffett if you don't want to listen to me.
On the quotes from professional users, you can disagree with them directly if you like. I merely used it as an example of how ServiceNow's front end UI could be replaced by CoPilot one day.

Terrible UX! I use it every day to track customer reported incidents. Every sinlge thing you want to do, from changing status, to adding attachment or creating simple filter is hard. I don't think it's going anywhere, but UI/UX is so bad, and it is like that since the beginning and they don't have plans do anything about that.

As someone who has been forced to spend time inside Copilot Studio, sometimes I'm so desperate that I long for ServiceNow's UI. Sure Microsoft is doing tiny little steps to make Copilot suck less. But the path is quite long and ServiceNow is accelerating at the same time.
Another bear case seems more probable to me: Salesforce growing out of the CRM domain.

In my industry, the problem is a bunch of dumbasses finally being interested in tech improvements because this one has an approachable UI to someone who doesn't know shit about shit in tech.
So they're trying to process improve with AI while everything in their workflow is cobbled together with manual entry and vlookups on 20-year old Excel documents.
So now we have a bunch of middle managers complaining about the lack of efficiency in spite of having AI "doing all our work for us."

They made some UI changes today. It looks like there's a link to Portfolio Checkup under the Portfolio Performance page.
It's really annoying that they make UI changes without any notification. The Balances page also changed to Account Details.

Agree wholeheartedly.
I think the old UI layout of your positions tab section of the app was much better.
1) The ticker symbol is too small. I would not use a bubble graphic around the symbol. Looks dated. Just leave it a table cell and fill in the background like it was.
This update introduced two bugs I noticed.
1)The app does not save your settings to remove the ticker Icon and description when you log back in.
2)Flipping your phone from vertical to horizontal view will push you out of the current account your looking at.

1. "The market is manipulated which is 100% true."
Yes. Precisely.
2. "Metrics like EBITDA keep the company afloat"
Yes. Precisely. So then keeping the company afloat would be a primary fucking goal? Since if there is no company, there no MOASS. And if the shorties are always trying to "live another day", then GME better do the same. Im glad RC understands this at least.
3. "RC has seemingly done nothing to address naked shorting"
Refer to point 1. Does RC control the laws and market regulations? No. Who does? Wall St and govt agencies. So who is to blame for naked shorting issues? Wall St and govt agencies.
...but RC kEePs DiLuTiNg!!! You mean like the splividend? The same splividend that was mishandled by all brokers and reporting agencies? The same splividend where they just updated the GME numbers in each brokerage account's UI without doing any of the backend bookkeeping that wouldve exposed the previous naked shorting? Refer to point 1.
Where the FUCK is the CFTC reporting data?!? I suppose RC was the one that forced the govt to hide that too?
The current dilution is more complicated but its also in the company's best long-term interests. I dont need to explain it here. The truth is self-evident. And a psychologically simplistic mantra such as "dilution = bad, thus RC = bad" is just an appeal to fear for low-IQ people.
Anyway, the plan isnt secretive. It's ongoing right in front of us. The Wall St manipulators are actively fighting the plan at every level. This is OBVIOUS to anyone actually paying attention and it should honestly be a reminder to everyone that the real enemy is and always has been the Institutions themselves.

full disclaimer before I begin to answer, I'm EtherHub's co-founder and we use different protocols to help our users. So my answer will be a bit biased here..
the native UI being difficult isn’t enough of a reason, imo. the extra fee only makes sense if the "terminal" saves you from using other tools or lets you do something you simply can’t do natively.
things like better automation, combining positions across protocols, acting on external signals, that kind of thing.
the extra $ (you'll be paying as a user) has to come from removing the work around the trade, not just changing where you click. honestly, if it doesn’t save time, reduce risk, or replace another paid tool, I’d just use Hyperliquid directly.
