TSME is strictly for commercial/business pre-builts (like Dell, HP, Lenovo). You rarely see this feature supported on DIY PC boards, and even if it is, most people WILL just turn it off because it tanks gaming performance.

Ok, but there are a ton of people whose priority isn't gaming. If you can can access to the machine via whatever exploit, then TSME can help protect data being run by legitimate process and services. It's not a trivial defense.

But, TSME helps with securing from physical access to DRAM interface. You will see perf impact with the extra encryption logic. I'm guessing most gamers will disable this unless OS does not provide an option.
