Ridiculous delay for patients, caused by FDelay rules on storage time for biologicals plus the CEO's absurdly conservative strategy of not spending a dime on commercial manufacturing and storage testing until AFTER they had the completed Phase 3 data.
Average BLA filing is 6-9 months after completion of Phase 3. And CADL's trial actually had a SPA.

So neither regulators nor the management covered themselves with glory. But the MOA is brilliant... adenoviral vector puts a gene into tumor cells that causes them to die when given a prodrug. The immune system already hates adenoviruses, so this causes a huge abscopal effect on tumors all over the body, including ones not injected with the vector.
