Hello Everyone! My (28m) employer offers some TDFs, but the funds appear to be active with high ER, so I opted for a personal choice retirement account through Schwab. I am currently staying the course and investing about 2000 a month into SWYNX (Schwab index 2060 TDF). I was reviewing the portfolio, and the fund is holding SCHH and has a total of 7.05% in REITs. On top of that, it is 67% US.
I want my investing to be as passive as possible and as reflective of the world market as possible. I like the idea of VT because the VTI/VXUS split is based on market cap weight. I don't mind REITs, but the amount in my TDF makes me feel like it's a factor tilt. I am tempted to just switch to VT/BNDW and slowly add bonds based on the age-20 rule, rebalancing as needed.
Am I overreacting? I am torn between leaving the TDF alone and just keep DCAing into SWYNX so I don't tinker versus selling my SWYNX and going 100% VT? For context, I have a Roth that is 100% VTWAX that I DCA 625 a month into.
PS. It looks like Schwab TDFs are known to hold more in REITs than other companies. I'd honestly use a Vanguard TDF, but I don't want to pay a 50 fee each time. I have thought of converting large amounts of SWYNX for VTTSX once a year so I only 50 fee once a year.
tl;dr Is SWYNX (Schwab index 2060) overweight in REITs? Is it worth it to switch to VT (+ BNDW as I get closer to retirement) to have a portfolio that better reflects the global market?

Research an ETF that has all of the ones you have which multiples your exposure and allows more sectors to invest in….ex. SCHA, SCHD, SCHH, SCHY…or similar products.
