This is where my 18 year old is parked. Except he’s 51% VOO and 11% VXF, with 38% VXUS. He’s content to look but not touch and it’s given him enough action to learn about the markets. He’s been at it saving gift money and teen gig work since middle school in his custodial account and doing a little rebalancing here and there.
He’s interested in trading SRIs just on moral grounds, so he has a small pot that he plays with FITLX, NUSA, ICLN, and RITA. I’m proud of him for the effort, but too old to play that game myself. I’m all VT just for the convenience factor.
