RBC capital still has 8150 for s and p 500 year end target. Seems right based on earnings

I invested $180k with RBC in 2020 and never heard a peep from my investor until I contacted him in 2022 when I was losing a lot of money. He said hang on for the long haul. I told him I’d like to meet with him once a year and he said definitely. 2025 came in and I had still never got even an email from him. I did some research, found an independent investor and pulled the plug on RBC.
My new investor told me exactly what I was invested in before I even showed him what I had. He said he knew because he used to work for the bank for 8 years. He explained to me the fees I pay and there are some that RBC charged that didn’t appear obvious on my statements. I immediately saved on fees the day I moved my money.

6 months? Just roll through two of the big banks promo HISA’s and be done with it. Thats what I’m doing right now with 1.5 mill. 5% at Scotia for 3 months then 4.6 at RBC and 4.8 and BMO after. Fully liquid

You can transfer funds by using the "Pay Bill" feature in RBC. Search for Interactive Brokers, and they'll show up as a payee. You'll be prompted to enter your IBKR account # and then you're all set up.
I've sent money in the past this way, but recently tried sending $4K and have been waiting 3 weeks for the deposit to appear in my IBKR account....customer service hasn't been helpful either.
