How is it able to verify the weight of the bar inside the package?
Page 2 states
> **Dimension Verification**: The PMV PRO can perform a specific gravity test to ensure the sample is the correct density. **The user must enter the measured weight of the sample** to perform this test.
Also looking at the Pro manual, page 22 states that you need to weigh it.

Not sure how realistic this PRO is - but rarity?
I mean - there's still a ton out there. But there have been several runs of melting junk over the decades (including very recently). Every series has it's own key dates...but when will, if ever, will even the common ones become rare?
There's a lot of unknowns. How much junk has been repurposed, melted down, or lost over the years? No idea. The idea that junk silver may become numismatically relevant/rare may be a possibility for my kids/grandkids - but I think it's inevitable.

Thats because the large on board sensor has a physical size of 12.5mm. Which is why you would need to use the external bridge for samples over that size. Also you are correct that the wands only give a surface reading but the built in on board sensor as well as the external bridge give a full pass-through reading. Im getting this info from the sigma pro that is in front of me and that I use on the daily.
Also from the brochure on this page:
https://www.sigmametalytics.com/pages/manuals?srsltid=AfmBOooTro6-mon2ryAyRUhX0rjl0NDzSN3L-LyitD0h9MevclUnn8Q4
"The second PMV was released in 2017 and is called the PMV PRO. This PMV takes the same surface readings as the Original, but also takes “thru readings” when using its onboard sensors. The thru readings test all the way through the sample; there is no penetration depth because the PMV
can test 100% of the metal that is placed between the two sensors. The PMV PRO can also perform a density test to confirm the density of the sample."

I don't know where you get this info from. Here is their FAQ:

\>Items thicker than 12.5 mm will need to Refiners wand and can only be measured in the standard surface measurement manner. The Refiners wand will detect tungsten under the surface of gold at a depth of 2.5 mm on each side of the sample.

Google has an entire ecosystem and they have been really smart on how they are integrating Gemini in an impressive velocity and google also owns around 14% of **Anthropic** (Claude) so thats interesting because Claude still remains in general as the best AI for coding, so its like the best of both worlds and with the new Antigravity IDE, google is killing it.
Here is where you can see how Microsoft is getting so far behind, because they also have a massige ecosystem with OneDrive, Excel, PPT, Word, windows and Copilot is not even close to Gemini, Claude or Chatgpt.
Anyways, I see Google achieving the dominance because of their capability to offer other stuff along with Gemini, they are being smart on attracting new clients or having other to upgrade their current plan, for example they give you 2TB storage with your PRO subscription (20$), again Microsoft can offer something similar but they are like sleeping in the water.
And remember, Google was like 2 years behind all of them, really impresive.
