Why because it's been their before also the infrastructure cost burden is gone and profits have started. But realistically you'll look uo and folk will see the lack of innovation in $TSLA and you'll see $NIO with all it's genius strategy over the long term. It sounds like a good thing for you stress wise. I'm 60 and have traded for about 16 yrs and I have never felt more confident in a stock as I do Nio. Making their own chips and the bounty of other partnerships $CATL 5 other big EV makers to use the BAAS system. I will continue to buy the dip. Just FYI the USA will not lead the global economy for much longer. Personal I sell calls against my long stock to continue making a few bucks while I wait and who need $20 we hit $6 or $7 I'm looking for a new place in Switzerland🤑

NFA but in the current environment, NIO is a very risky stock to own.
For the past 3 years at least, algos have stepped down NIO stock. Every time there is upward momentum, it is heavily shorted in the morning, usually within 15 minutes of open, setting the tone for the day. They do this especially on Monday at the beginning of the week and also afternoon Friday at the end of the week when volume is low, creating FUD in retail.
Dark pool routing of buy orders blunts upside. Algo stepping keeps the stock suppressed and rangebound. Naked shorting defuses good news.
NIO is trading around 0.5P/S, the company and products are great. Even for people who believe the China stock discount theory, NIO should still be trading at a premium relative to Xpeng and Li Auto, but it's not. The problem is there are people with financial means, that don't want NIO stock to rise and have been able to keep NIO stock down. If every success, every milestone, like positive FCF, breakeven, and its first profit were all able to be neutralized, you're truly looking at the worst kind of corrupt, rigged casino, never knowing if the stock will ever be allowed to run.

I am talking about chinese market as a whole in the upcoming Xi-Trump submit. There ahould be a rally into that event. Plus, Nio has upcoming NIO days and Q2 earnings which should provide catalyst for the stock

Listed in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and NYSE. Currently they are trying to get a primary listing on HK stock exchange to allow mainland Chinese people to invest in NIO through Stock Connect.

It's all about your risk tolerance and how you feel about the company relative to market share and growth. I own NIO stock but do not put all my eggs in any one basket. Stocks go up and stocks go down. You can count on that and right now Nio is down.

The attack on NIO is way harder and aggressive in HKEX. Singapore is just passive.

Is there any other stock exchange where NIO is traded? Maybe the problem is in the American market. In Chinese or Asian stock exchange the picture would be different

Also there's gamma pinning and magnetizing around strike price. Unique to NIO because of huge option volume. Thats actually natural, not manipulation, but still sucks. Breaks on big jump when market maker can hedge against options.

also.... why shorting and shakeout action is so strong at $4-5, when we are near the psychological all time low, or even "0" - because weak hands and unexperienced traders \\ "investors" might say - ah, NIO is so low, if I buy it at $4 it just can't go down from here! I only make profit! No. these people must be eliminated and washed out of trading or investing FOR LIFE. They will disturb the institute kick-in. They must experience the stock going down from $5.5 to 4.5, a sad 20% down, to go away and never come back to stocks again.

The extreme event that will happen in NIO is the float\\liquidity squeeze.
Being a B2C company, with physical products, at premium prices - that everyone can see and feel and already know about - the decision time is very quick.
At one point in time - after a massive institute kick-in and price jump -
There won't be a single person \\ fund holding NIO that will agree to sell his shares.
Complete float lockdown.
That's also when shorts, market makers and gamblers in hedge funds have to cover their position.
But there's not a single available share to buy.
That's exactly why $5 -> $50 will take no longer than a few weeks, and $50 to $200 will be even faster.
You think there are 2.4B shares. But that's completely wrong.
At any given point, with today's inert trading of NIO - There are about 300-400 million available shares for trade - MAXIMUM. that's it. Could be even no more than 300 million. The rest is locked.
When these 300 million get locked out too - the most violent chain of events in the stock market history will take action.
Short squeeze + gamma squeeze + MM fail to hedge + liquidity lockdown + hype wave + FOMO + big medium and small institute kick-in.
That's the reality of maybe next week.
Next month.
But that's exactly what's going to happen, and no one can stop it.

+ Swap will work at any point. Anywhere. Even in places where there is no network or charging at all. That's why NIO is invested heavily in nuclear power. Micro nuclear reactors will power up energy storage.

There is no manipulation other than its CEO Li, using the shareholder as an interest free bank loan.
My advice, looking for a fast payday, NIO is not the answer.
