Hi All. I have self guided ROTH, traditional and SEP IRAs with Fidelity and Merrill Edge (all my retirement funds in US outside of a tiny NWB pension in UK). Due to eldercare I have unexpectedly moved back to the UK (although still own my home in MA). I am able to still contribute to my ROTH IRA as I have sufficient US based income from working 2-3 months of year in US. All investments in my ROTH are US based ETFs, Mutual funds or individual stocks (EUAD, IBIT, SCHD, TSLA, XAIX, ACES, APO, BBWI, FTEC, PHO, ESGE, ESGD, ESGU, EAGG, SUSA, JHX, JEF, KKR, META, QCLN, NUSC, NVDA, ORCL, XLV, CNRG, EVX, BAWAX, PRBLX, PXWGX). 1. can I still invest in any of these without creating headaches with HMRC when i file my taxes? 2. are there better solutions for investing this year’s $8600 vs continuing to invest in the ROTH. 3. for my other IRAs and non retirement brokerage accounts if the investments are all US based ETFs, Mutual funds or individual stocks is there any issue with just treading water with these for now? Thanks in advance.
