This last month has been a cracker. I was previously red $16K overall in October. I'd bought a massive parcel of JHX when it pooped the bed a few months ago, thinking it was massively oversold and hoping for a quick bounce. It didn't, and continued to drop. It did eventually come back, I rode it to a $3K profit, held, it dropped again. Finally got rid of it last week for a $6K loss. Happy to see it gone. All green in the house now. Not sure whether to just sell up and cop the capital gains, only held all these positions for \~5 months. They'll be added to my wage, which is low-ish $45K. I've put a lot of wages into super which helps, but a 50% capital gains discount would be nice. Hard decision to make. Nice problems to have.
