IG credit spread .83, HY credit spread 3.02… RSP/SPY at a bottom, Nasdaq AD ratio at 0.66… USD/JPY falling… ignore all that, PCE is only 3.3

Three of them pay me monthly, the other three overlap to a monthly payout as well.

The yield curve and CPI are the only ones from that list I'd keep in the daily rotation. The rest either lag too much or get priced in before you can act on them. VIX can be useful but only if you're tracking the futures curve, not the spot number everyone stares at.

What's missing is credit spreads, specifically HY OAS. When junk bond spreads start blowing out, it's the earliest smoke signal you'll get before equities catch on. That's saved my ass more than once.

I used to track the CNN index religiously and eventually realized I was just adding noise. Any sentiment gauge that aggregates headlines is just telling you what already happened. For LEAPS timing, I'd rather watch the TLT/SPY ratio and USD direction over anything sentiment-based.
