I'm guessing its an IRA that was rolled over from a 401k when you quit a previous job.
I suggest looking at some index funds. There's plenty. Certainly the S&P 500 Index is tech heavy, so I can see wanting to avoid that if you're temporarily tech adverse. But there's plenty of other sector-based indices that can be invested in.
I asked google about Fidelity sector-based index funds, and got this as part of the response
>*MSCI USA Investable Market Index (IMI) Sector Indices*, covering sectors such as Information Technology (FTEC), Health Care (FHLC), Financials (FNCL), and Energy (FENY). \[[1](https://institutional.fidelity.com/app/item/RD_13569_30823/investing-in-sectors-with-passive-etfs.html)\]
If it is an IRA, you can just merge it with your existing IRAs...or rolling it back into your current employer's 401k is legal ... but your employer's plan might not support roll-ins.
