First Trust Dow Jones Select MicroCap Index Fund

The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Dow Jones Select MicroCap Index(SM). The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is comprised of selected U.S. micro-capitalization companies chosen from all common stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the NYSE MKT and NASDAQ® with limited partnerships excluded. It will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of U.S. micro-capitalization companies which are publicly traded in the United States.
