The premium math will disappoint you here. Check the options chains for ARKG, KSTR, XOVR, EWT, DRAM before you commit. Several either have no meaningful options market or spreads so wide you give back half the credit entering and exiting. Options premium follows liquidity and IV, both of which are thin on niche sector and country ETFs. The bigger issue is that the ETFs which do produce premium (XBI, ARKG) are the ones with the deepest drawdowns. The ones without drawdown risk (SPMO, XLI) barely pay to write. "Extra income" hides that you're being compensated in proportion to how much you're willing to lose on the underlying. If income is the goal, one deep-liquidity ETF (SPY, QQQ, IWM) sold 30-45 DTE slightly OTM will produce more real premium than eight niche ETFs combined.

I think this is a terrible idea. First, you have massive geopolitical risk. The moment winnie the pooh decides to make a move on Taiwan, 1/4 of your portfolio (KSTR, EWT) will literally vaporize overnight. Semiconductors and Taiwan plays only thrive in peacetime. They will drop like a rock at the first sign of real conflict.
Second, the rest of this is just an insane, hyper-volatile hodgepodge mixing biotech (ARKG, XBI) with memory chips (DRAM). This is an incredibly stressful portfolio that will require constant babysitting. The strategy fundamentally clashes with the assets. If you are taking on venture-level risks (biotech, China/Taiwan), capping your upside for a measly 2% option premium makes zero sense. It is absolutely not worth the risk.

Plans to invest in 8 ETF's , equally weighted. I will be selling options from these for extra income. Please rate and criticize it. ARKG,XBI, KSTR, XOVR, EWT, DRAM, XLI, SPMO
