Thanks, yeah I find it quite enjoyable and the more I learn the better I can tweak my stock picks.
A few recommendations for ones that I like currently.
Shift4 Payments: software and payment processing company, founded by Jared Isaacman who is now head of NASA, really solid company that has a near monopoly in payments for venues and events like stadiums, will benefit from the world cup last month, bought Global Blue last year giving it a large amount of debt which the market has been worried about but with forward revenue growth of 20%, high margins and large amount of free cash flow it should be able to pay it off. Global Blue also now gives it a monopoly in Airport and travel payments like Duty Free, only 9 forward P/E for 20%+ growth, I see value. Risks are the debt, reliance on entertainment growth like stadium visits and travel through airports/duty free visits.
Firefly Aerospace: Space company that makes rockets, payloads and moon landers for private companies and the US government, like a mini spaceX and Rocket Lab except has a big stake in the future US moon missions so revenue should ramp in a few years when the US starts serious moon missions. Developing Eclipse which is a larger, reusable medium-lift rocket competing with SpaceX co-developed with Northrop Grumman (US defense giant), gone down a lot recently so I'm topping up my holdings, a lot cheaper than SpaceX with more potentital for growth. Risks are that its very early stage, loss making and could need to tap markets for funds, a lot rests on future moon missions and Eclipse launcher.
Amentum Holdings: Engineering company that focuses on nuclear power contracting. They are one of the sole companies that the US/EU/UK governments trust with supporting and engineering Small Modular Reactors and old power plants. Growing close to 20% next year and less than 10 P/E, semi-monopoly in its space and will benefit a lot from growth in Nuclear power and Data Center construction. Recently awarded $400 million contract by UK government, $700 million contract by EDF energy and constantly winning contracts in the US for nuclear and data center support/development. Risks are that they operate in a low-growth area so the growth will eventually stall to around 5-10% and needs margin improvements but very cheap now and I'm comfortable buying up while its low.
I could go on since I am bullish all 22 shares I hold but those are some of the ones I am topping up currently.
