This is the LAST screenshot I had taken of my account that I had to go into previously sent text messages where I sent this exact photo to a friend of mine who was asking me about what I was investing in. (She had been trying to convince me to invest in PLTR and we were light heartedly teasing one another about who had more gains).
This was MONTHS ago. My %’s gained were significantly higher since I sold like a day or two ago?
I do not have any more photos and i’m not going to screenshot all of my account balances to convince some rando on Reddit on what I did or did not do in the market.
I have no reason to lie.
I originally put like a few thousand dollars in each fund. They went up. They went down. Then I said fuck it and drained my ENTIRE HYSA and put it like 50/50 in SMH and Intel.
All of this is beside the point(s) i’m trying to make. I still believe Intel can easily hit $200/share by year end. I still think SMH can hit $800/share by mid 2027.
The point i’m making is that i’ve made enough gains and that I simply DO NOT believe in the AI thesis anymore. Like AT ALL.
I’ve YET to hear a sufficient argument against any of my points except what ifs or hypotheticals.
Based on the evidence today and the numbers we have and the reports and listening to the best and wisest AI bulls and the best and more wise AI bears, AI is not going to be able to keep this up. Period.
It’s going to crash. Not if. WHEN. As of right now, unless some magical new formula gets invented where tokens cost nothing and compute costs nothing the margins (or lack there of) are not going to be able to justify current stock prices.
I bought into the AI hype. I got lucky and it paid off. I’m done testing my luck. At least then based on the data and information I was confident in my investments - now? Not at all. Hence selling.
