I'm in the UK. I use several UK/European based ETFs and investment funds for a variety of reasons - to diversify, spread risk, and to a limited extent manage the timing of dividends. As a core ETF I favour LDGG. It's more diverse than JEGP, doesn't mess around with covered calls, but above all it applies a Quality screen and doesn't just chase the pay out. What is it about JEGP that appeals to you? - I see nothing worthwhile in it myself.
My picks are LDGG; MRCH, CTY & HHI; IGET & MYI. Should return \~3.5% dividend plus growth. They're all up throughout the chip/space/AI shenanigans.
