I’m a taxpayer and I didn’t conspire with anybody, keep me out of this.

I just called in and turned off MyVoice, so now when calling in it will ask for me to enter my username or SSN on the keypad and the CS will send a SMS code to my phone, and there is no option for TOTP, email code, or phone app push notification.
I just tried out the "forgot password" option on the web app and it after a bit of basic info. it asks for TOTP and the "try another option" sends a approval notification request to my ios app after I log into it, although I imagine if you call in because of forgot password, CS will send a SMS code :/

And CS said the are currently rolling out passkeys for logging into you account which has not gone live yet, the option will show up somewhere in the security settings.

That's a weird argument. Lots of Ultra users complain about Revolut's CS, and Revolut's chatbot is better than my *paid* bank office.

Focus on what you love, the pure math is kind of a myth from the past. CS is standard way to land quant jobs.

CS for sure

CS is a completely normal way in for trading roles. what matters more is taking the probability and stats as far as your school allows and grinding mental math and betting puzzles for interviews, nobody is going to ask you about topology. research roles lean more toward the math degree though.

Don't do pure math for quant if you don't like math. Do CS. Math is hard enough when you love doing it

 its the exact same style of post common on the gamestop sub where someone will post a picture of a box, or a used game, claiming some horrible experience, but they will NEVER EVER ever ever ever post a receipt or a any kind of transaction history. Sometimes they'll post a snippet of a customer service interaction but its always lacking any detail.
Ive seen well over 100 of these style of posts just in the past month two.
These posters always imply that extra information is boring or unavailable or could dox them or whatever.

Yep. They want customers with zero risk, because they can't afford to increase CS standards for all accounts.
