Well, not completely "random". Overstock bought Bed Bath & Beyond IP back in July 2023, renamed itself into Beyond Inc. (and their ticker symbol - into BYON). Last year they renamed themselves once again, this time into... Bed Bath & Beyond, changed ticker symbol to BBBY (so _beloved_ by towel apes), and issued warrants (BBBYW) with CUSIP-6, which was matching CUSIP-6 of the old company (which is no-brainer, CUSIP is alphanumerical code and first six digits is just the name of the company - and they were matching).
But this August they renamed themselves once again (into Neighborhood Intelligence, ticker symbol NXH), re-listed both shares and warrants on NASDAQ, and for some reason changed CUSIP of warrants to new one, which has their original CUSIP-6 of yet Overstock.
