I have a car, and a motorcycle to commute to school, work, etc. I wanna have a little amount like $2,000 as an emergency fund for now. I was thinking I could treat this as a “savings” account as well, like if I need it for anything important like bills or whatever, I can just pull from it. Otherwise no touch.
Then I’ll have like $500 in checkings for miscellaneous, reoccurring bills, etc. My paycheck will also go to my checking, and I get paid weekly.
I have about 2 years to finish my BSN, so I’m not too worried about an emergency fund AS much. If it’s something terrible and I absolutely NEED the money, I know that I can pull from my ROTH IRA (not recommended I know).
