Research, I just spend about 5 hours a day. What helped with peru is I got family there and told me about what's going on. Then, I got curious and found out their inflation rate, a lot of countries showing interest and investing, they updating infrastructure, etc. Huge amount of cash flowing in and thought, hhmmm, obviously cash needs to be stored and who benefits the most when an economy is growing, banks. Another guy on reddit talked about BLX months ago, I researched that and liked what I saw.
As for stocks, I don't know. I have been eyeing indonesia and Brazil.

Banks, my most profitable, has always been banks. Especially when hit hard. GBOOY when at 30 and got that 10% dividend, BLX at 35, BMA at 40 and sold at 110, BBAR 2x on that, BAP at 150 and 8% dividend, LB, WF. MUFG back in 2022, UOVEY in 2023. Now, I'm getting into some other countries that got hit hard and recovering slowly.
