It is fund of companes that mine lithium. The profit and dividend of these compass is strong tied to the market price oflithium. So if lithium prices go up there dividend will also go up. If lithium prices drop the yield will drop.. Despite all the talk about about lithium bieing rare it is not. There is enough lithium dissolved in sea water to provide all the lighium we need need forever.. The only issue with lithium is separating the impurities from it. which is much harder to do .
Alos for investing keep in mind single companes can go bankrupt at any time without warining. You better off investing in ETF or CEF funds than individual companes
If you want high yields look into BDC (Bisness Development companes) and MLP (master limited partnerships.) These compares are required by law to pay out 90% of ther income as dividneds. So yields are much higher than companes. But note these have some unique issues.
BDC by law can only generate regular dividneds which are taxed like work inocme which is the highest rate. Also funds that invest in BDCs must add the expenses of the BDC they hold to their own expenses. Now the fund never pays BDCs expense. So the 2 BDC EFT I know of PBDC and BIZD list expenses of 13% whiten there real expenses are both in line with other ETFs. Tow Good ETF are PBDC and BIZD. Typical yields for BDCs about 8 to 12%. BDC lend money to companies.
MLP are oil and gas companies that operate pipelines and refineries. They do generate qualified dividneds which are are taxed at a lower tax rate than regular dividneds . But they genrate K1 tax forms that complicate taxes and if they are in a Roth the dividend or selling in a roth may generate taxes. This tax problem is solved by investing in ETF and CEF funds. The fund is reqiured by law to to deal with the K1s so you don't have to. There are many MLP funds but. EMO 8% yield is a good one.
I have EMO AND PBDC in my Roth.

Note Main IS a BDC company. Unlike most companies Main is required by US law to to pay out 90%% of its earnings. They are also required to pay ordinary dividned which are taxed at higher rates that other dividend stocks and funds. As a result BDC always pay dividned during recessions and the yield is typically higher. Most companies yes known to collapse into bankruptcy sudenly in a day with no warning. So there is no time to react and you could loose all of your investment.
. Your better off investing in a ETF that invests in BDCs like PBDC 9% yield. BIZD 11%. These funds are not popular because of an obsurce SEC rule that requires BDC ETFs to t to add The expense of the BDCt that they hold to the funds expenses. Now the fund never pays BDC expense. But as a result of the SEC both list expense of of about 13%. Real expenses are in line with other ETFs I have PBDC in my Roth.
Note there is another group of compares that myst pay out 90% of there earnings as a dividned. They are known as MLPs (mater limited partnerships.) Only oil and gas companes can be MLPs But unlike BDCs they genrate K1 tax forms which complicate your taxes. And if you have a MLP in a Roth you may owe taxes from didiends and the selling of stock within a roth. So don't invest in MLPs in a roth. But you can invest in ETF and CEF funds that hold MLPs in a roth. ETFs and CEF are listed as the owners of the these stocks so the Fund must deal with K1 tax form. As a result the investor in the fund will get the normal 1099DIV tax form which does not cause tax complications. There are many MLP funds I hold EMO in my Roth.
