I use IBKR for real trading. It took a while but i made it reliable. It runs on its own virtual machine on my Azure cloud. It requires a weekly authentication.
Schwab runs on Oauth which also expires weekly.
I use both Schwab and IBKR for paper testing and average the two to address slippage.
Alpaca is the best API but it does not have all the features of BIKR.
