NGL I've only been investing since GME went off, and a good portion of that time I was completely off the daily grind. Last year was my first real year of tracking my picks. All that to say I don't really know what Alpha Beta is outside of a bioaquadooloop. I have made significant steps to lower my risk. I used to go heavy on my plays, now I slowly DCA into my plays with a longer term outlook. I research lots of channels and find good information then DCA into those choices. Over 50% of my capital is in ETFs like IBIT, ETHA, TQQQ, SOXL, I also did well on swings this year with PLTU and APLU.
