Hey yall! I won this giveaway on whatnot app and I’m pretty versed in metals but never seen anything like this. Very interesting. If anyone has info on Sothebys? I believe they are a jewelry company. It says .4 grams of gold and I think wood? Probably like an older pinch of gold for services maybe or shipwreck? Idk. I bought into the genius idea that the Trump administration was going to win the war on housing by magically lowering interest rates and fix home affordability, all thanks to Citron’s report last September. Fast forward to today: with a housing bubble, the 10-year yield near 5.30%, and interest rate risk raw-dogging my entire brokerage account, I am down **over 70%** in my $LDI position.
The CEO of LoanDepot actually bought shares a few weeks ago, which sounded great until I realized we are *both* down about 40% in the last 30 days. Turns out the only thing LoanDepot is building is a masterclass in bagholding. Speaking of which, LoanDepot Park is also the home of that CEO caught having an affair in the viral Coldplay concert video... so at least leadership has a proven track record of getting completely f'd in public.

The Recent Larry Cheng LiveStream and why I AM NOT Optimistic (He previously LiveStreamed in 2023 and it wasn't good).

What’s up guys, wanted to share an absolute textbook algorithmic sequence I caught this morning during the NY AM Killzone. After dealing with some choppy delivery earlier in the week, I tightened my execution parameters down to absolute structural walls—strictly fresh, unmitigated high-timeframe arrays only.
Here is the exact mechanical breakdown of how the tape delivered:
**1. The Macro Context:** Price expanded aggressively upward into a premium, completely unmitigated **Daily SIBI** right after the morning news cycle cleared out the early paper.
**2. The Liquidity Trap:** A high-velocity morning pump ran session highs, violently triggering a deep pool of resting buy-stops to engineer institutional counterparties.
**3. The Algorithmic Filter:** Right at the ceiling, a clean **15-Minute SMT Divergence** printed against Silver, confirming heavy institutional distribution was actively capping the asset.
**4. The Execution & Target:** Executed a short with 5 contracts on the structural breakdown. Instead of trying to guess how far the macro flush would extend, I locked my take-profit order strictly onto the high-probability structural magnetism of the **London Low session extreme** where heavy sell-side liquidity was resting.
**5. The Delivery:** The algorithm drove price like a laser beam straight into my **4,207.7 Buy Limit**, flushing the sell-stops to fill the full bag cleanly. Price ended up expanding significantly lower past my target to sweep the AS-L later on, but banking the meat of the move at a major session extreme is the protocol.
Total mechanical execution. The laptop is slammed shut, the trading panel is dead for the day, and I am stepping away completely flat.
How are the rest of the SMC/ICT tape-readers handling the market today?

i still think the best amd trading strategy is sell at open and buy around 8:30 AM PST for the morning dip. rinse repeat.

**Post Open**
Today is the end of the 3rd quarter this year and with quarterly ends, the big funds clean up their books and have been doing that this past several days to settle up their wins/losses and get their portfolios set for the 4th quarter run. In the case of AMD, some funds might find themselves overweight on a dollar basis due to the sizable run higher in AM over the past 4-5 week and this past quarter overall. AMD is up over 20% since the end of of June. We can also see AMD moved lower the last week of the June quarter as well, but then recovered decently too. Today and this week is likely a blip in the longer term chart for AMD as it could well be off to a good start in the October month.
In the news today HPE got a $1.2B order for AMD's Helios AI racks, so that is a nice sign of things to come.
If we look at the indices for the past several weeks, I can see the SPY has been drifting lower for the past 7 weeks from its high of 779 the week of 8/10. The 5 Week and 20 Week MA's have nearly converged and the Bollinger Bands have contracted so the index is ready to move, hopefully higher.
The QQQ is quite a different picture as it made recent bottom 3 weeks ago and is running higher near the tightly contracted upper Bollinger Band but also showing very strong momentum, so a possible breakout to the upside could be in the cards.
Let's see of the MU results tonight provide some juice for the AI/SI trade mopving forward this week or if the market is unimpressed.

Whenever I see this chart in pre-market, I think there's a single house on Wall Street dumping all of their positions ahead of some report. Once 7 AM hits, it accelerates, due to more brokerages allowing PM trading.

I have a portion of my paycheck sent directly to my CMA. Our finance department processes payroll on Thursday around 9:00 AM, and I see it pending in my CMA by 3:00 PM the same day.
