Disclaimer: I've only been learning stock trading for the last 3-4 months so take everything I say with a grain of salt and listen to someone who knows what the hell they are talking about.

I am very new to penny stocks and still learning as I go. If you want to try it without risking anything, Investopedia has a trading simulator that gives you something like $100,000 fake money to play with. I use it when I am not sure or don't understand something and it has taught me a lot. I've also avoided a lot of loss by putting my impulsive trades in there instead of risking it in my live account.

If you are digging into XELB, it is a classic example of a volatile penny stock trying to pull off a massive turnaround. Financially, they are under a lot of pressure. They only did $1.1 million in revenue last quarter while burning through a $2.5 million net loss, and they are carrying a ton of debt ($12.6 million) compared to their tiny market cap. To survive the bleed, management has been playing aggressive defense by selling off old assets like the Judith Ripka brand for $2 million in quick cash, while keeping the lights on through a $15 million dilutive stock printing agreement. The real speculative upside here is entirely tied to their pivot into social commerce and media hype. They have a pipeline of influencer-led rollouts, and they literally just announced a big production partnership today with KBL Group for supermodel Coco Rocha’s OFF/DUTY apparel line. There is real skin in the game here, but with the ongoing dilution and heavy operational cash burn, it is definitely a "trade the spikes, don't marry the story" kind of setup.
**- Financials (Revenue, Net Loss, Debt, and Asset Sales):** Verified directly via the [Xcel Brands Q1 2026 Financial Results Press Release via StockTitan](https://www.stocktitan.net/news/XELB/correction-xcel-brands-inc-announces-first-quarter-2026-financial-ukg430k9u29x.html) and their corresponding SEC Form 10-Q filing. This statement documents the $1.14 million net licensing revenue, the $2.49 million GAAP net loss, the $12.6 million long-term debt balance, the completed $2 million cash asset sale of Judith Ripka, and the $15 million standby common stock purchase facility.
**- Coco Rocha & KBL Group Partnership:** Confirmed by today's official corporate announcement via the [Xcel Brands Licensing Agreement Media Disclosure on Fidelity](https://www.fidelity.com/news/article/default/202607061000PRIMZONEFULLFEED9757375). The filing outlines KBL Group taking over manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain logistics for the *OFF/DUTY by Coco Rocha* ready-to-wear apparel collection to expand distribution across retail channels.
