Actually that’s a separate issue. The parallel to your bond example would be a fund like VTIP, not the TIPS maturity ETFs I’m talking about. The ones I’m discussing mature in exactly the same way as individual TIPS. The true bond comparison would be with target maturity bond ETF series like the IBTx iShares and BSCx series with Invesco, where “x” is a letter that signifies the bond fund’s maturity date.
