TWST (+525% YTD)
HNGE and ILMN (+>100% YTD for both of them).
Picks and shovels plays in the genomics/bio pharma drug-discovery/development space. These guys all create tools and platforms biotech and others need to do their work. They aren't the binary biotech plays. They are used by everybody. Highly recommend you take a look at them and others in their grouping.
ETFs would be ARKG or XBI but the latter holds a much broader set of companies. I'm trying to stay picks and shovels. So just picking my best individual stocks. So far so good.

So many people over the last several years have thought a number of battery companies were massive growth stories with a huge TAM and they wind up like QS or Northvolt. Perhaps batteries just don't have enough moat/too much competition? Some long-term chart on AMPX only to be up 15% since going public. Am long a bit of OUST, but not much.
In terms of secular trends, I've been long TWST/TXG but the life science stuff has run a lot.
