At least Elon has actually produced things through his companies and investments. Tesla, batteries, solar etc...then obviously the rockets and stuff, free speech for the most part with X, his previous ventures. Not sure what he's scammed really.
Saylor currently produces Debt, and bag holders. STRC is in a curious position as it's supposed to stay around $100 with a variable rate usually around 10-12% dividend. It was below $80 recently (haven't checked) and the rate is up to 29% last check. The only way to pay is to either sell more MSTR which is way down and not viable or to sell off BTC, and a lot of it. Or they could suspend dividends but that's not gonna look good or pass vote I wouldn't think.

Retire is a loaded label. Let's just say you have enough money to give up your job and have enough money to live (accommodation, clothes, food), nothing extravagant. Then what?
There's an interesting chapter in an old book, I'm OK, You're OK. One of the biggest problem people have is how to fill the next hour of their life. So much so that we all create rituals and habits to relieve us of making those decisions.
Once you give up everything in your old life, you will need to build a new one. What is your vision for it?
On a financial note, I would wait a couple of years E3Q/2029 - the most likely time for the next peak, then cash out what you need for living expenses. STRC/Strategy looks interesting for a no hassle income. And in that time you could plan your new life.

STRC is a stock and currently highly volatile. It is not somewhere I would park my emergency fund.

they have more than a year of dividends in cash and none of their bonds are due within anywhere near 3 months, so idk what could make them go under that quick.
Big players can send the share prices as lower and lower, but there isn't some price that kills the company if they drop below it, for STRC the dividends are fixed and if they can no longer sell MSTR either due to capital markets forsaking them they would still have 800k btc to sell before they would die off entirely

You're onto Something OP. WallSt is smelling blood with STRC/MSTR and you know what that means. They don't want money from buying BTC cheap, but from STRC/MSTR stock in the gutter. And they're attacking their funding, not so much BTC. If STRC/MSTR cannot run the business because funding is too expensive, they'll need to sell coins to pay for it. And the recent sell of a handful of coins was the canary in the coalmine.

strategy has between 14-17 months of runway to pay STRC yield already.
Their recent announcement of 1.25bln sale of btc is signaling they are willing to sell along the way to meet demand. This is \~5% of their stash.
I believe the way that strategy has everything structured, unless btc dips to 10-16k, they don’t have to do anything. And if it does, they would likely just restructure rather than get liquidated. These are professionals and a large business, not me leveraging to the teeth on Robinhood.
Finally, strategy doesn’t have any “real” obligation to even pay the yield on STRC. It’s just made up to par $100. They can decide at any time it’s too risky to keep paying and stop. However, this would destroy the optics and probably cause everyone to sell STRC. So this is the game they are playing.
