There is an inevitable decision that Strategy will have to make, similar to how the Bank of England failed to defend the pound when Soros attacked: they will have to pick between keeping STRC at $100, or selling bitcoin.
If STRC drops and they respond by increasing the dividend from 11.5% to 12+, they will bleed out even faster.
If STRC drops and they either skip the dividend, lower the dividend, or refuse to increase the dividend, then investors will likely flee and they liquidity dries up.

Most of them suck.
CHPY has been excellent.
If you think oil will stay hot, USOY
If you think BTC will ever rise again, BLOX
I don’t trust the single ticker ETFs like AMDY, HOOW, or NVII.
CHPY is solid because chips are solid.
The income from CHPY, USOY, and BLOX are great.
If you want a bit more steady income, you need to look at SATA and STRC. They are preferreds. They are not ETFs.

I do think we get over $85k fairly soon, perhaps even by the end of this month largely driven by multibillion dollar price agnostic buys from STRC consistently occurring month after month.

I think it all comes down to if the new Stratergy financial product gets critical mass adoptions: STRC.
But’s it also a catch 22: if BTC fails (doesn’t deliver the expected 30% returns) STRC will fail eventually… if STRC doesn’t get enough adoption Stratergy will stop buying BTC
Bottom of the line: no one knows shit and a stock market crash might destroy an asset like BTC

I would advice you to STRC stock and get monthly income as dividends from your stock rather than buying BTC.

This is all haters. Their focus over the years moves from bitcoin to Strategy to STRC.

My dad just put 400k into STRC, could be worth looking into.

Thanks for the post!
The cash reserves were supposed to put STRC holders and credit rating agencies at bay, now they are depleting that, in a bear market. Eesh.

Can confirm. The BTC bulls in the MSTR community mainly buy MSTR instead of STRC.
If anything, our buying STRC helps Microstrategy fail harder and faster. It makes it less sustainable in the long run.

Btw, 95.8% of that was funded by Stretch.
$1.94B was from STRC and only $83m was raised from the common stock. Not financial advice just interesting facts.

They are most likely going to sell 1.5B of high cost basis btc this week to settle their 1.5B convert. I expected them to use the STRC shares to buy the converts. But they didnt.

Saturn vs Apyx: Pendle just dropped the Pendle-dependency numbers. 76.4% vs 52.7%. Both wrap the same STRC dividend but the design choices are not the same.

Last year MSTR acquired 226.1k BTC and BTC traded as high as $126.1k.
This year MSTR is on track to acquire 452.9k BTC by year end. And this might be an underestimate because it’s only factoring in 3 months of multibillion dollar buying from STRC entering the picture.
A single entity can’t keep buying tens of thousands of absolutely scarce BTC month after month without dramatically impacting price at some point.

There is a risk with the call they lower the dividend percentage so it drifts back to 100 but I think there's a real possibility Saylor just lets it ride.
What's the incentive or benefit to "just let it ride"? Their last call showed they care deeply about their credit rating so I think they will try to keep STRC near 100 at all costs.
If you think the downward move to $50k BTC is more likely than what's priced in, why not just short BTC or MSTR?

Last month after STRC paused on buying BTC traded as low as $73.3k.
Anything above $73.3k during the next few weeks while STRC pauses on buying is a higher low demonstrating continued weakness from bears in the middle of a “bear market.”

Kannst du die konkreten Posts verlinken?
Aber ist doch schon seit Jahren bekannt, dass MSTR Mist ist und das STRC noch größerer Mist ist.
Würde mich interessieren was genau du entdeckt hast...

Thank you! I will definitely consider both.
There is a risk with the call they lower the dividend percentage so it drifts back to 100 but I think there's a real possibility Saylor just lets it ride. I think the STRC looking "genius" and creating higher demand might outweigh adjusting the coupon to something more reasonable.

Idk how "reputable" news sources like CNBC and Bloomberg don't just straight up call MSTR/STRC a ponzi
