I'm thinking of loading up tons of QQQ puts and maybe on a few data-center names (CRWV,SPCX, etc) on election day. If Dems end up winning the House and Senate, I think there is going to be a perception that they will be a hindrance to the data center buildout (whether or not that is true). I personally think they won't cause too much damage, because both sides are bought and sold whores. Most of them spend their time day-trading and I am sure they don't want their stocks to go to shit. But tactically, short term, I could see that narrative pushing stocks down.

I'm short SPCX since the bull trap... entered short at $162-165 and letting it ride given the midterm election implications and the vendetta dems have against Elon.

0.5B in real money, loans against his assets but I'm sure they don't take TSLA or SPCX stock as a donation. Very likely that he pissed it away.

Buy the dips. They are getting more than enough funding. There is no lack of funding due to Ai expenses. Check all the funding that happened last week. Amazon 80 billion. SPCX 40billion. Meta 197.5 billion. Anthropic 63 Billion, Microsoft 25 billion. Smart money is lending to make more money and media is fear-mongering for political reasons. Smart money buying while retail selling.

To what? Starlink is just more satellite, which has existed. Sure it has value but it has costs, and is competing with telecoms that already exist and cover most areas, should SPCX be valued like those telecoms it would have to go down in price. Biggest novel use is military, which they've shown the world cannot be trusted by flicking a switch on a billionaire's whims, so now Europe is moving up their own plans for a constellation. Tsla existed before Musk bought them. Their business would not have even reached the point where they're comparable to a shitty car company without massive government subsidies. The government built tsla, Musk just financially engineered VC money into it.

You got it the other way round. GOOGL got dumped because its latest quarter EPS was missed, mainly due to paper loss tied to its SPCX holding ($0.34 shaved off EPS).

People said the same thing about SPCX. It rallied for a couple days after IPO and has been treading water since.

Musk dropped some big claims on x this weekend. SPCX calls on opening? He’s essentially said he has a million black wells up and running by December.

I’ll get allocated 20-30k worth, similar to SPCX, I’ll sell within a few days and chew on the early sell penalty for 6 months.

I don’t hold Avantis but I switched from VTI to dimensional’s DFUS with the SPCX IPO. 0.03% vs 0.09% is basically nothing. DFUS historically slightly overperforms VTI. Ultimately it’s probably a wash. But it’s nice to have a rules based system for stock inclusion and not just be a bag holder for whatever company decides to have a massive IPO.
