I’ve started investing in Dec-24, and I’ve done a lot of moving between individual stocks/etfs over the last year and a half. I’m now looking for a long term strategy in terms of ETFs, and I’m hoping for some advice. I’m 21m Uk based and currently have £24k invested (realised gain of £1.7k thus far)
The foundation of my portfolio is 70% VWRP, I’m just trying to determine what to do with the remaining 30%
My initial thoughts were to split the remaining 30% of the allocation between:
FLRK (Franklin FTSE Korea Acc)
SMGB (VanEck Semiconductor)
VFEG (Vanguard emerging markets acc)
And then something a bit more projective like QNTM (VanEck Quantum Computing), or potentially a foreign market that is looking optimistic for the future like Korea
I wouldn’t say I have a massive risk appetite, but I certainly don’t want to just go 100% VWRP forever.
I would really appreciate the time anyone could take to help me out, as I say I’m fairly new to this
Thanks in advance :)
