Everyone has their own favourites.

You could go with a mutual fund stock like NCYF that pays around 9% dividend with a stock price that tends to stick around 50p. You could go for REITs like PHP or LMP that pay 7-8% and have some upside in stock price from where they are now. You could go with covered calls funds like WINC, JEIP, or JEGP that pay 8-10% and move around a bit in stock price. You could go with building stocks like HICL or INPP that pay around 6-7% and could increase in value. Or, you could go with energy stocks like UKW, TRIG, ORIT, NG, or SSE that pay 8-10% and have various levels of potential upside.
I am sure there are more, but these are all the ones that I hold or have considered in the past.
