You’re not wrong about the demand side. The dot-com comparison falls apart because http://Pets.com didn’t get used 40 times a day by the same person who called it worthless. AI’s already embedded in daily workflows — coding, emails, research, data analysis, customer support. And yeah, the bears are hand-waving the fact that most consumer usage is still subsidized. When free tiers get throttled and GPT-7 Pro Max Ultra costs $30/mo, the choice isn’t “Netflix or nah.” It’s “keep up or get lapped by the guy who outsourced his thinking to a server farm.” Enterprises already see it as labor arbitrage. Once the hook is set, monetization is just a pricing update away. So the bubble thesis has a problem: you can’t short actual adoption.
