OKYO is all about that first-in-class play for Neuropathic Corneal Pain (NCP), which is a massive market with zero FDA-approved drugs right now. We just got a huge de-risking event with the FDA Type C meeting, where they basically greenlit the path for the Phase 2b/3 trial of urcosimod (OK-101). To lock in the runway for that study, the company just priced a $20 million offering at $1.85 per share, and since it’s currently trading just below that level, it feels like a chance to get in at a better price than the institutions that just anchored the raise. This is exactly what’s needed to fund the 150-patient trial starting this half, and with analyst price targets still sitting between $6.00 and $8.50, the upside from here is looking pretty significant.
