I looked at my tradezella, it doesnt show me my units gained per trade because i dont input a solid stop loss in my trades. Premarket doesnt allow stop losses and i never go back into tradezella and input those manually.
Looking at my recent trades, it is hard to tell because i take partial profits and it will show 3 or 4 different trade but for the same trade, i would say around half go over 2R maybe a little less because of the partials. I strictly only trade news and theres alot of momentum behind the trades. I do sell 50% position around the 2R, and i leave the rest runners. Sometimes those runner may grab me another 1R or 2R.
ZCDM today squeeze up from $3 up to around $7 in seconds, NIKI today had a nice move from $9 to $17 in minutes. Im usually risking .10-.20 cents per share to make .20-.40 cents per share. Sometimes with that squeeze im able to capture $1, $2, $3 per share on my remaining position.

But still up green on the day thanks to risk management. If you are new and still learning trading, risk management is key and definitely 1 of many pillars that needs to be worked on.
Many strategies call for different risk management parameters and will give yoy a clear picture of if the strategy is profitable or not.
My strategy calls for 2:1 reward:risk. Meaning i only need 33% win rate to be break even. I know how to cut losers quickly which is what i did. I had 2 losers on ZCMD and 1 nice winner on NIKI around $2 per share.
There are many ways to make money in trading, but there are alot more ways to lose money as well. Learn and get comfortable learning risk management and it will help you in the long run.
