It’ll drop more, they can’t do anything about 47% tariffs. I would wait for it to see if it hits 218$. Then drop a put, because that means there’s much more room to drop. But if it holds 220-226$ it’s worth it to buy and hold.

Example is LULU on earnings. I had 265sp for the Friday expiry. After earnings it opened around 270 and was sliding. I risked and doubled down my contracts from 265 to 260 the same Friday and had a mental roll price of 262 break. It never did and i was able to get them expired. If it would have i would have taken the loss or rolled to next week if good buffer was available on the roll

Yeah. The part that’s bad is really the premium. I bought a .60 call that’s good till September just in case the tariff scenario changes so significantly that LULU can recover to previous values… but if I didn’t get it for so cheap, I wouldn’t have done it at all.

I think in current market getting one good idea a year is difficult if you are a one man shop. Unless your hire specialized quants/analysts, its very very difficult as information flow today is very different from 30 years ago.

Another thing to understand- a position is not a idea/conviction. Eg you buy Novo Nordisk cause ozempic is expected to boom up in sales. Not an idea. Its as good as a bet. (just an example)
An idea would be something like spotting LULU is undervalued cause of china slowdown, and understanding its supply chain(just an example)

Like I said GOOD LUCK, but the women I know that do yoga and pilates have not steered me wrong. Casual ask them about the products they buy or are wearing and see how many have the LULU brand mark.

Earnings were solid, lack of guidance due to the tariffs situation is an hiccup.
Go to a store, at any random time and day. It’s gonna be packed by all sort of MILFS, rich Asians, young putillitas, maricones and corporate pricks shopping as if there is no other clothes store in town….
